Save A Tree
Have you seen the vines on the side of the highway, covering trees, pulling them down, transforming our forests into... something else?
We support Westchester County Parks Department's efforts to control these invasive vines along the historic Bronx River Parkway. We especially want to save the big signature trees. They are critically endangered. Without our efforts the vines would have killed many of them over the next few years. They are important to the beauty of our park lands and incredibly expensive to replace.
You can do something in your little patch. Become a Westchester County Parks Department volunteer. Attend training sessions. Contribute.
